The Where and When

June 8th starting at 2 pm until June 9th at 2 pm with a final yoga pose during our cheque presentation to CHEO on live TV during the Telethon.  This years event will be held at the same location as the CHEO Telethon at the EY Center near the airport (4899 Uplands Dr, Ottawa, ON K1V 2N6).  Our space will have the capacity to hold 200 Yogis/yoginnis.

We will have dedicated yogis on their mats practicing for 24 hour straight. Working in teams or individually, our yogis will be sending positive energy out into the community non-stop, all with the goal of raising awareness and money for childhood cancer.

We are very excited to announce that Michael Michaud and the team from Vital Point Clinic will be returning once again to provide some incredible massage to help our hard working fundraisers!  Additionally we will have some amazing sponsors once again this year for food and beverages during the main event.

Our Fundraising Goal

New this year will be our friendly city wide "Yoga Studio Challenge" whereby each person who registers to raise money and do some yoga will also choose to "Join a Team".  Here they select their home studio.  This will allow us to see which Ottawa's amazing yoga studios raises the most money for this amazing cause!

We are targeting $100,000 as a group, which will be donated to CHEO oncology to help kids with cancer. Each yogi is asked to target a total of $500 or more in donations and sponsors.

Our yogis each have their own online donation page connected to our team page, including a profile with picture and a short bio and a link you can give friends who want to sponsor you. Tax receipts will be generated for donations over $20. Cash and cheque donations are also welcome... the more the better!
